Wednesday Night Clay Workshop

Slab Dishes

5:30-8 pm

Using templates, you will work with clay slabs to create 2-3 small dishes. Instructor Cray Charlebois will show you how to cut the slabs into shapes and join them to make vessels. You may choose to use udnerglazes to decorate your pieces, or have us glaze for you from our available glazes. After the pots dry we'll kiln-fire them for you and glaze them. This workshop is for ages 14 and up. (9-13 if accompanied by a responsible adult)

Class size is limited to 8 participants.

Payment is required with registration. If you cannot pay online, or wish to pay with cash or check, please call Main Exhibit Gallery at 724-238-2310 to register. Leave a message with phone number if after business hours and we'll get back to you.

You may get messy, so bring an apron or wear work clothes and shoes that can get dirty. We recommend that you leave your rings at home.

All classes are held at Main Exhibit Gallery's accessible art center, located in the lower level rear of the gallery. Do not come to the front entrance of the gallery. Free parking is available in front of the building or in our parking area off Grant Street.
