Wednesday Night Clay Workshop

Slab Sculpture

5:30-8 pm

This is a fun and creative "mixed media" project. Cray Charlebois will show you how to cut out clay slabs in shapes and decorate your creations using underglazes. We'll kiln fire the pieces and affix them to aluminum wire in a wooden base. No experience is needed. All clay, tools and kiln firings are provided.
Class size is limited to 8 participants and pre-registration is required with payment.

This workshop is for ages 14 and up (8-13 accompanied by responsible adult)

You may get messy, so bring an apron or wear work clothes and shoes that can get dirty. We recommend that you leave your rings at home.

All classes are held at Main Exhibit Gallery's accessible art center, located in the lower level rear of the gallery. Do not come to the front entrance of the gallery. Free parking is available in front of the building or in our parking area off Grant Street.
