Have you wanted to try the pottery wheel, but can't give up the time for a 6-week class?
Looking for a creative, fun activity to celebrate a birthday, bond with employees, have a family get-together, or some other special activity like a bachelorette party?
Here's the perfect way to "get your hands dirty" with pottery. In this 3-hour session, Cray Charlebois will show you how to center clay on the wheel and form it into basic pots. You may or may not not make the best looking pieces on your first try, but you will have some creative fun!
After the clay dries (several days) we will put the pieces in a kiln and bisque fire them. We will then glaze them (based on your glaze choices) and fire them again. Then they are ready to be picked up during Main Exhibit Gallery’s regular business hours. The process takes about 2 weeks.

• Clay
• Use of all tools and equipment needed
• A demonstration
• Personalized hands-on instruction on the day of your event
• Bisque firing, Glazing and Glaze firing

Please select one person as host/contact for the purpose of registering for this event. The host will be responsible for payment in full online. You may include up to 6 participants for $270.

• Trim Long Fingernails

• You will get messy, so bring an apron or wear work clothes and shoes that can get dirty

• Leave your rings at home.
• Entrance to class is at the lower level rear of the building.
• Park out front or in parking area on Grant Street.
