Increase your ability to create art by learning and expanding your drawing skills in this fun class.
Four Thursdays: July 8, 15, 22, 29 - 1-3 pm
In this class for teens ages 12-18, students will learn to draw what they see by focusing on the contours and dark or light values of an object and seeing the shapes within. Students will explore differences between drawing from a photo versus drawing from life, working from both photos and still life set-ups to practice “seeing” and translating a 3-D image onto paper. Participants will work with a variety of pencils and graphite to sketch, draw, and shade.
