Gnome Jar

Saturdays, July 12 & 26 | 10 AM - 2 PM

Calling all gnome lovers! Create your own gnome-themed jar (approx. 12"H x 5"W) project (fully food-safe and functional!) and learn how to work with clay slabs and glazes in the process! You'll have full artistic license to create and embellish your gnome jar any way you like!

Class 1, July 12: Make your jar from clay slabs

Class 2, July 26: Glaze your bisque-fired jar. (The week off in between gives us time to fire the greenware pieces.)

BOTH dates are essential to the class. If you cannot make one, please wait for another workshop date. It will be ready to pick up within a few weeks from the class date. This workshop is for adults ages 14 and older, and perfect for beginners! Those with some experience will have a great time, too. Take it solo or come with a friend for added fun! We have space for 8 participants in this workshop. (You'll be notified via EMAIL when your piece is ready to pick up. Be sure to check your inbox & spam folder!)

Please Note:

• Tuition is due with registration unless other arrangements are made. If you cancel 0-7 days before the class start date, we are able to refund your tuition ONLY if we can fill your space from our waitlist. We are not able to issue partial refunds or transfer your registration to another class. We apologize for any inconvenience, but we cannot under ANY circumstances refund your tuition once you have started the classes.
• Art is a messy business! Please bring an apron or wear work clothes and shoes that can get dirty with clay/paint/etc.
• Leave your rings, smartwatches, and jewelry at home. Main Exhibit Gallery & Art Center is not responsible for lost or damaged personal items.
  
• We ask that you pick up your projects within 2 weeks of your notification that they're ready. We have so many classes that our space can get quite full with students' work! Any pots left behind after 2 weeks without prior arrangements will be added to our "Adopt a Pot" shelf in our main gallery space.
