Painting WITH Glass

October 27: 5:30 - 8:30 PM

Learn the art of painting WITH glass by making one (1) fused glass panel OR two (2) beautiful fused glass nightlights of your own design using glass frit (crushed glass). Each panel will be approx. 6 x 12" and each nightlight will be approx. 3 x 4". Nightlight fixtures are included with the class for those who choose this option. The image above features some nature-themed examples, but feel free to be creative!

Please come prepared with a simple line drawing of a design that you would like to try.

Artist Mandy Sirofchuck will go over working with glass frit safely and answer any design questions. Your projects will then be "fused" in our glass kiln, meaning there is no use of metals or soldering in this class, and are typically ready to pick up within 2 days. This is perfect for beginners, or those with some experience looking for a fun project to do with other like-minded, creative people! Class size is limited to 8 people, ages 14 and older, ensuring a high level of attention. We require 3 to run the class. All materials provided. Just bring yourself!

Please Note:

• Tuition is due with registration unless other arrangements are made. If you cancel 0-7 days before the class start date, we are able to refund your tuition ONLY if we can fill your space from our waitlist. We are not able to issue partial refunds or transfer your registration to another class. We apologize for any inconvenience, but we cannot under ANY circumstances refund your tuition once you have started the classes.
• Please wear work clothes that can get messy. Closed toe shoes are required when working with glass.
• We ask that you pick up your projects within 1 week of class ending date unless you make prior arrangements.
